Nest Instructions

 We’ve put a lot of love and thought into our Nest. Please care for it. We are confident you will enjoy it and treat it with kindness. Below you will find answers to all your questions, but please do not hesitate to message us if you can’t find the answer here.

Upon Arrival

An AUGUST app manages the main door. You will receive a text message on your phone with the instructions to operate the door.

The gate operates with the REMOOTIO app, you will receive your access by phone.

NOTE: The main door locks automatically when shut (from the inside or outside). Be sure to have your app available to reopen or memorize your code.

Outdoor Living Area

Firepit Only to be used by adults or under adult supervision.

  • MUST extinguish with water after use. Do not leave a fire unattended.

Swim Spa must be operated by adults only.

  • Open lids to the sides DO NOT detach; lids hang to the sides of spa.

  • Do not change the settings or turn any of the gray handles. No diving.

  • Do not leave kids unattended. Kids should not operate spa or play with jets.

  • Be sure to turn it off if not in use.

  • MUST close spa lids when not in use.

**THIS AREA IS PRONE TO VERY STRONG WINDS. PLEASE:

  • Always maintain the spa lids attached to the folding system handles (the silver tube railings). The lid must ALWAYS be folded to the sides of the spa. They are NOT meant to be removed.

  • Fully close the lids when the spa is not in use.

  • Fully close the umbrellas when not in use. They might fly away and cause an accident if left open and unattended.

  • Put all trash in the house trashcan.

  • Do not leave belongings outside if you do not want them to blow away.

Coffee Bar

Complimentary Keurig coffee bar with a selection of coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and creamers. Enjoy!

Appliances and Electronics

Laundry: Washer and Dryer

Kitchen: Coffee station, Blender, toaster, microwave.

Game room: Flatscreen TV, Access to TV streaming, Surround system.

First floor fans and lights: There are two in the living room and two in the game room. Please do not detach remote controls. The wall switch must be on for remotes to work

Trash

Extra trash bags are located in the laundry room, on the shelf over the sink.

Please make sure to dispose of all trash (most importantly food) in the bins (at gate level) at your departure.

Food & Beverages

  • Water dispenser (hot and cold water) is complimentary. You will find it in the laundry.

  • A bag of ice is complementary

The kitchen does not include any foods or condiments, be sure to bring anything you need and not leave anything behind at the time of departure. Everything is tossed out after each rental. This ensures COVID-19 precautions.

Garbage and Recycling

Please dispose of full garbage bags in the green containers located at the entrance gate.

Mind common recycling labels.

Please do not leave more than what fits in the bins.

Septic

Please be aware not to:

  • Dispose of paper in the lavatories

  • Keep the drain catcher in the sink

  • Don't pour grease or chemicals down the drain

Linens

Sheets and towels are white to show our commitment to cleanness. Please be aware of makeup or tanning spray stains.

Exterior Lights

All lights outside turn on/off automatically.

*Indoor light must be turned off when not in use.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • PARTIES OR EXTRA GUESTS: No parties are allowed. 10 guests only (including daytime visitors). The House includes a device that displays the property’s occupancy.

  • HOUSES: The 8-acre lot has two houses. Both are independent and only share the main road. Both have their own green areas and pools. Owners live in the second home.

  • PETS: Not allowed

  • CARS: A maximum occupancy of 5 cars. Each car will be given an access code to enter the gate. Sharing codes will deactivate them.

  • COMPLEMENTARY: Coffee bar, toiletries, wood for the firepit, One bag of ice, one jug of water in hot/cold dispenser. Sorry, no condiments included for sanitary precautions.

  • SECURITY CAMERAS The property has external surveillance for security purposes.

  • SMOKING is not allowed inside the house. Please do not dispose of cigarette buds in the exterior areas.

  • FIREWORKS Not allowed on the property, regulated by the city.

  • DAMAGES Guest agrees to pay for damages to the property exceeding the deposit or cleaning fees.

  • FURNITURE Do not move or rearrange the furniture. If you have a special request, contact us, and we will send someone by to assist.
